Why clear your cache and cookies?

Clearing your cache and cookies resolves many common browser issues such as pages not loading or appearing correctly, logins failing, ect.

Did you know?

Most browsers have a shortcut to clear your cache and cookies. On Windows it’s Control + Shift + Delete. On Mac it’s Command + Shift + Delete.

Clear cache and cookies on computers

  1. Click the Tools menu (three dot button in the upper-right corner)
  2. Select Delete Browsing Data
  3. Set the following:
    • Time range: All time
    • Uncheck Browsing history
    • Check Cookies and other site data
    • Check Cached images and files
  4. Restart your browser. On Windows, close the application. On Mac press Command + Q
  1. Click the Tools menu (three line hamburger button in the upper-right corner)
  2. Select History and then click Clear recent history
  3. Set the following:
    • When: Everything
    • Uncheck Browsing & download history
    • Check Cookies and site data
    • Check Temporary cached files and pages
    • Uncheck Saved form info
  4. Restart your browser. On Windows, close the application. On Mac press Command + Q

  3. Set the following:
    • Time range: All time
    • Uncheck Browsing History
    • Check Cookies and other site data
    • Check Cached images and files
  4. Restart your browser. On Windows, close the application. On Mac press Command + Q
  1. Click on Safari in the top menu bar
  2. Select Settings
  3. Click on Privacy
  4. Click Manage Website Data…
  5. Click Remove All from the bottom of the menu, then click Remove Now
  6. Click Done and close Safari using Command + Q

Clear cache and cookies on mobile devices

  1. Click the Tools menu (three dot button in the upper-right corner)
  2. Select Delete Browsing Data
  3. Set the following:
    • Time range: All time
    • Uncheck Browsing history
    • Check Cookies and other site data
    • Check Cached images and files
  4. Restart your browser. On Windows, close the application. On Mac press Command + Q
